About me
I live and work in Berlin and grew up in a multilingual family in Luxembourg where I grew up speaking German, Italian, French and Luxembourgish. Following a one-year stay in Russia, I’ve studied Arabic Studies in Lyon, Cairo and Marburg. As well as Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), I speak Egyptian Arabic and understand the Syrian, Lebanese, Jordanian and Palestinian dialects. Thanks to my professional experience in the social and community sectors, I am also familiar with a variety of social and legal contexts.
Officially certified document translation
As a translator authorised by the State of Berlin for the Arabic–German language pair, I deliver certified translations. These are recognised by public authorities, courts, universities, embassies and other institutions. I complete every translation myself and certify it in accordance with the applicable requirements. Confidentiality is a high priority.

I offer consecutive interpreting in the language pairs German–Arabic and German–French. I can assist you at (cultural) events, during visits to the doctor, when dealing with the authorities, and in other personal or institutional meetings. Through accurate and confidential interpreting, I facilitate clear communication and mutual understanding.

Solidarity pricing is available for people experiencing financial difficulties, as well as for non-profit associations and organisations.
Fair and socially responsible pricing
Language should be accessible to as many people as possible. That is why I offer a solidarity-based pricing structure. All services are billed transparently on an invoice basis. Anyone who wishes to voluntarily agree to a higher rate in order to support this solidarity-based pricing structure may also indicate this option.
For people in difficult financial circumstances
For example, people receiving basic income support (Grundsicherung) or asylum seeker's benefits (Asylbewerberleistungen) can request an individual price agreement.
For charitable and non-profit projects
Charities, associations and non-profit projects are offered tailored rates upon request.
A solidarity contribution is possible
If you can afford it, you are free to agree a higher fee and thereby help to fund other projects.
